Just for fun-if you could live in the world of a musical, which one would it be? Mine would be "The Sound of Music," there's something very enticing about the simplicity of the Capt. and Maria's love for each other and the children and the wonderful times they all have singing together. Not to mention Austria is breathtakingly beautiful. Updated On: 12/24/06 at 01:35 AM
yeah being a 19 year old nun seduced by a 45 year old man with 7 brats sounds like Heaven to me. But the music sure is pretty I think the story of HEDVIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is so much more exciting. Of course i wanna be the Army Guy who found him. 16 going on 17 TIMES have changed
i dunno if i would want to be worrying about escaping from austria...but i like the question...maybe charlie and the chocalate factory?? haha or this isnt a musical...but the nutcracker? oo there are so many options: lil mermaid b and b mack and mabel...well the beginning meet me in st. louis thoroughly modern millie the wizard of oz maybe wicked... ....more later

Mamma Mia! Who wouldn't want to live on a Greek island where everyone is happy?
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
The Wedding Singer, because everything is happy and colorful and works out in the end. And because it would be fun to hang with the mutants at table 9.
Um...Hairspray hands down. The technicolour world of 1963, with the dancing and the music. Plus everyone looks good in their clothes and hairstyles (although maybe a little over the top). Plus my voice can suit that era very well...and if I'm gonna be living in a musical...that matters.
Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia
I would definitely live in THE WEDDING SINGER world. First off, getting to hang out with everybody! And I'd get to wear sweet 80's outfits, and I could spend Saturday nights in the city with Holly...wow, I would so be dating Holly if I was in WEDDING SINGER world :) That is so ideal...
The Woman in White...what an incredible time period to live in...I loved the vividness of costumes' colors, and the projections (which would be REAL places if I lived there).
I love everything about that time period...the clothing, the hairstyles, the young lovers.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...
There are too many worlds to choose from...since I can't come up with a musical that would actually be a practical "place" to live, I'll say The Phantom of the Opera for my own sentimental reasons. I've always wanted to be right in the middle of all the action at the Paris Opera House.
I'd probably also want to "live in" Rent...can't imagine it would be too terribly fun, but I do miss those final days of dirty New York, circa 1995.
"If there is going to be a restoration fee, there should also be a Renaissance fee, a Middle Ages fee and a Dark Ages fee. Someone must have men in the back room making up names, euphemisms for profit."
