Thanks theater_tech! Now there's two good options! I'll probably use UStvnow since I can airplay it to my apple tv, but if that ends up not working, I can just ariplay my laptop with CBS!
1. Open Chrome. 2. Press Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Chrome Developer Tools 3. Press Esc, then select Sensors 4. There will be an option to change your GeoLocation. Change it to Custom Location. You will need to insert coordinates for latitude and longtitude. I searched a random spot in Manhattan on Google maps and got my coordinates there. 5. Refresh your browser. 6. CBS All Access should show the Tonys to be at 5 PM (I live in San Diego) now.
Important Note: DO NOT CLOSE THE CHROME DEVELOPER TOOLS (the ones that look like lines of code). THE GEOLOCATION WILL RETURN TO DEFAULT IF YOU DO."
I tried to follow the instructions, but saw no "sensors" option when I hit Esc on my (Mac) Chrome. Is it specific to the app/code for the site?
DAME said: "OK. Got it now! But now a total stupid question. How do you get the coordinates on google map? "
Doubleclick on a street location (not a business or marked site) This will bring up a pop-up box where you should see the street address and, beneath it in gray, the latitude and longitude [ RCMH is about 40.76, 73.98 ]
Followed these instructions, but CBS All Access still knows I'm in LA (tried both NYC and Philly). Kept the developer tool open, etc. Anyone have any insights? Ugh!
USTVNow is working great, thanks for the recommendation. I'm seeing the Tonys live for the first time ever. AND I just saw my first Hell an's mayonnaise commercial. LOL Here west of the Rocky Mountains the brand is called Best Foods.
Thank you, Theater_Tech....because of you and a last-minute assist by my techie son, my Tony viewing party was saved! I really appreciate the step by step instructions!
Oh wow, I'm so surprised how many people found my instructions helpful! You're all very welcomed! Warms my heart after my disappointment in Chavkin's and Malloy's losses tonight :)
