Speaking of those Harvey Milk School devils (in another thread) got me to digging around on the web to find some details of the long-discussed Hedwig and the Angry Inch tribute album ... and it's scheduled for release next month!

Kind of OT.....but has anyone experienced the Polyphonic Spree (singing 'wig in the box' on this album) performing live ?
I have only listened...but will see their show later this month here in ATL. Looking forward to it.

Posted: 9/10/03 at 5:43pmI tried to make myself go see Polyphonic Spree a couple of weeks ago, but it was a weeknight and I had a packed work day the next day. The story is they are quite something to see live. The Voice wasn't exactly taken with them according to its review, but their sound is very theatrical (they do that "Night and Day" bit on the Volkswagen/Ipod commercial).
