"All our dreams can come true -- if we have the courage to pursue them." -- Walt Disney
We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".

Nicholas Belton could still be an understudy, or any other number of roles. There is no indication to whom he is playing.
Jay A Johnson was beautiful in the role. His youthful appearance adds a dimension that was missing from even the wonder Gavin Creel.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
According to his bio in the press material Broadway World used, Nicholas Belton is playing Berger on the tour.
Nicholas Belton's credits include the recent revival of Hair (Berger u/s) and the upcoming Hair national tour (Berger). Other credits include Wicked (Fiyero u/s), Transport Group, Playwrights Horizons, Goodman Theatre, Long Wharf Theatre, Court Theatre, Fords Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare. Film and television include Jail City, "Guiding Light." Nick is also a personal chef: www.boxercook.com
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Luv2go-- I LOVE the Shubert. Its a wonderful little theatre. Small, intimate, beautiful. I've seen many shows and concerts there and never had a bad seat before. I recommend taking the train--its so easy (I do the reverse trip when I make my way into NYC) And it's a super short cab ride from the train station to downtown area. HAIR is actually coming to CT twice and I can't imagine going to see HAIR in a huge venue like the Bushnell in Hartford. Which is a typical touring house. The Shubert on the other hand is a lot more like Broadway houses.
And I'd love for Jay A. Johnson to join the tour. I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him.
Thanks Wendilin, I think I may just do that. I was reluctant when I saw that the the Shubert housed more seats then the Hirschfeld and was not sure about the area & transport to get there.
I would think it would depend on the venue to determine if the dance party happens. Every area and has different codes. Updated On: 8/16/10 at 01:58 PM
Jesse Snider tweeted something to the effect of "I just met with some folks in NYC regarding the Hair national tour." I was thinking maybe Claude too, but he seems more of a Berger. Or even Woof. I guess if he does Claude at least he has the right haircut :) It would be great to see Jay Johnson play Claude though. I can't wait to hear who the rest of the cast is!! Hope to see it here in D.C. Too bad there's no TKTS stand for the Kennedy Center.
I'm really hoping for Paris Remillard to be on the tour, and preferably as Claude. I saw him go on for Kyle the last time I saw the show, and I honestly thought he was almost better than Gavin -- and I thought Gavin was a dream.
Karennnn.....you can join the Kennedy Center's "attend" program on your website if you are under a certain age (i think 30?) and they offer special discounts for shows that aren't sold out. I doubt Hair will be able to sell out every show in the Kennedy Center's opera house so the discounted tickets will probably be available. Also, the balcony seats are around $35-40 which isn't too bad.
