"C'mon Everybody" at the end of ASU is so much fun
i also like "My Strongest Suit" from AIDA. idk what it is about it, but i just like singing along with it and pretending to sound good. "I'm the Bravest Individual" from Sweet Charity is another one i like.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

No one has mentioned my three favorites!

1.) The orphans' reprise of "Fully Dressed" in ANNIE. Say what you will about ANNIE, but there's something about that song that is always able to put a smile on my face.

2.) The finale and reprise of "You'll Never Walk Alone" from CAROUSEL - one of the most moving finale's ever written.

3.) The finale and reprise of "Climb Every Mountain" from THE SOUND OF MUSIC - again, say what you will about the show, but the finale never fails to bring a few tears to my eyes.

I went through my iTunes and here are my picks (in no particular order...)

I'll Cover You - Rent
Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered - Pal Joey
The Beauty Is - Light in the Piazza
Finale - Ragtime (Reprise of the Prologue)
America, F**k Yeah - Team America (Sure it's not a Broadway show, but the reprise still gets honorable mention)
Elaborate Lives - Aida
Fortune Favors the Brave - Aida (seriously, it should have been on the CD. Same with the Overture, Enteracte, and the Belly-dancing music)
Everybody's Got the Right - Assassins
If I Can't Love Her - Beauty and the Beast
Waiting for the Light to Shine - Big River (Revival)
One - Chorus Line
I've Never Been In Love Before/Adelaide's Lament - Guys and Dolls
So In Love - Kiss Me, Kate
He Lives in You - Lion King
Not a Day Goes By - Merrily We Roll Along
As Long as He Needs Me - Oliver
Reviewing the Situation - Oliver
People Will Say We're in Love - Oklahoma
The Stuff - Reefer Madness
New Ways to Dream - Sunset Blvd

The last "Facade" reprise- Jekyll and Hyde after Lucy's death- it's just so haunting and the lyrics make the plot come full circle.

"Sun and Moon" from Miss Saigon. So sad when Kim puts on her wedding garb on after her nightmare and sings this, and we just know it's going to end badly...

The reprise of "Small World" that Rose sings in Gypsy when Herbie walks out on her was put there in place of a ballad that was originally written for the spot called "Who Needs Him?"

Patti LuPone sings it as one of the extras on the CD of the 2008 production.

Jule Styne and Steve Sondheim loved the song, but Jerry Robbins felt that it took away from the dramatic impact of Rose's Turn, which followed just a few minutes later, after Louise's strip and the dressing-room scene.

Arthur Laurents, with his impeccable timing and caustic wit, settled the argument with these words:

"It's a nice song, 'Who Needs Him?' But who needs it?"

One from A Chorus Line. The first time we hear the song it's clearly about Cassie. And how Zach hasn't realized she is the one. The second time, it's so much more uplifting....and it makes me think/feel the tension between Zach and Cassie has ended. Same song, but you get a different feeling about why it's being sung each time.

"The brief reprise of "Small World" sufficed."

Until he cut it for the last revival. For me that removed any hope of Patti's Rose being anything other than the steamroller she played it/he directed her as.

The brief "Falling Into You" reprise in "One Second and A Million Miles" from Bridges of Madison County may be my favorite musical moment of the last few years.
