True, but I have done it before. Just make it look like it hasn't been resealed.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

A Five pound box sent Parcel Post would at the maximum cost you $10.00 to send. If you sent it at Media Rate it would cost even less.

That seems like a very small price to pay, to prove that you aren't a crook.

This is a classic case of "Blame the victim." When a person goes to sell something to someone operating a business, he is acting in good faith. When a "business person" lures a seller in and then stops responding to him after the goods have been received, it's nothing short of deceit, dishonesty and fraud.

Before anyone condemns anyone else for being a "moron" or naive or whatever, they should consider the MOTIVATION of the parties. One acted innocently. The other is out to screw people over for his own gain.

Thank you miss pennywise.

I understand some of the people feeling that the victim should have known better, but some of the posts here, especially the one by BrodyFosse, were pretty disgusting.

"[Gore] was widely perceived as arrogant. If you know something, you're not smart. You're a smarty-pants. It's annoying. People get annoyed with your knowledge. It goes back to high school, to not doing your homework ... 'There's something I should know, I don't know why I should know it but someone knows it and I don't. So I'm going to have to make fun of him now.'" -Sarah Vowell, The Partly-Cloudy Patriot

So Broadwayman's an admitted thief and liar. I always felt there was something very fishy about that website.

Henry M, I would suggest that you contact BroadwayNewYork.com. Broadwayman is linking to them as an affiliate, he gets paid a percentage of the sale every time a customer clicks through one of his links to BroadwayNewYork.com and completes a transaction.

While BroadwayNewYork.com is not responsible for Broadwayman's actions, I am certain they would not want a known liar and thief as an affiliate.

"By the way we have a big sale: 25 playbills for $20.00, all in GREAT CONDITION."

I am interested. Can you send me them first, before I pay? If I don't like the condition they are in, do you mind if I keep them? I wouldn't want to pay the cost of shipping them back to you. After all, you'd do the same thing.

You're out of line, Brody Fosse, to call anyone a moron and someone with no common sense. No matter what the subject matter is. You owe him an apology.

clearly the poor chap (OP) was only guilty of simple naivety, and I hope he will be more cautious when dealing with thieves in the future

Whether what happened in the original post is real or not doesn't matter to me. This thread is no longer about that for me. It's about how people treat each other.

""I think this is all and joke and is all planed by this henry guy and broadwayman.com I think they are working together to give Broadwayman.com more traffic. We are just the idiots playing into their hands.. I think Broadwayman.com is LOL to the bank... and i don't blame them."

So, you believe it's a good marketing plan to have someone accuse you of dishonest business practices? That makes no sense at all.

And let it be noted that it wasn't the original poster who bumped this thread, or has even contributed to it since he originally posted. Which was four months ago.

Broadwayman2, may have indeed bumped this thread hoping to draw people to his website, but why wouldn't he just start an entirely new thread that didn't mention his, for lack of a better word, thievery? A lot of good it will do him to have people go to his website, if they know in advance that he's a crook. He may get site hits, which will earn him pennies but I'm guessing actual sales from his site will be ZERO.

Wow.

Fun old threads.

The OP wasn't looking for pity, they were only warning people about a scam artist.

Sheeze.
