Dear D....maybe you should buy the OBC of PASSION, or the London cast which features Michael Ball, whom I believe you favor. After several hearings of the score you might appreciate the jazz version even more. I do believe it will grow on you.

I can't BELIEVE this--are you telling me I should buy a Michael BALL CD?! Well, I never. You KNOW how I feel about the guy.

::grumble::The THINGS put myself though. ::mutter under my breath:: BB thinks I'll spend my hard earned money on something like THAT! HA! Making me buy a Michael Ball CD. Humph! Let's see, E-bay or Half.com?

Didn't you say you love anything by Michale Ball? If that will induce to listen to the London cast of PASSION so you can appreciate "Passion in Jazz."

I think I see the problem here--I thought you said Michael Ball when clearly you said Michale Ball. I misunderstood. I LOVE Michale Ball! Errr, who is he??

BB & Master I know it is absolutely none of my business, but did you mean the picture alongside your various posts. If so it is not Martha Raye but rather Alice Faye. Sorry to butt in.

Good call, Sharon. I'm pleased you recognized them.
Martha Raye was several icons ago!

There was a Sondheim jazz album a few years ago. It has a beautiful version of "Pretty Women" by Pebo Bryson.

Yes, it's a wonderful CD. "Color and Light," I believe it's called. I have it at the office. Jazz interpretations of Sondheim, various artists, including Nancy Wilson.

Thanks for reminding me to listen to it soon.

Yours for a jazzy Broadway!
