Hi Everyone,

I am new here. I posted this question on another message board and they suggested Broadway World as a good reference.

I am planning a bridal shower for a friend who is a huge Broadway fan. The theme will be Broadway. For the music I am planning to make a CD of great Broadway songs about weddings or marriage. They can be funny, serious, romantic etc. and just have to relate to marriage in some way. But I'm not familiar with all shows, and don't want to miss out on some great songs, so I thought I'd ask all the Broadway fans to give me a shout out with ideas and suggestions. So, if you know a great song that should be included post it here.

Thanks!
Jilly

There's also a song in the musical Shenendoa but I forget the title.

It's already been mentioned, but I definitely just had lyrics to "I'll Cover You" printed on my wedding invitation.

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.
