Happy 80th birthday to George W. Bush, arguably the worst most catastrophic president ever, Trump included.

I'm not sure I agree that Bush was literally worse than Trump, but I definitely think that the decision not to punish Bush and members of his administration for their obvious crimes led rather directly to our current catastrophic situation, where there seems to be no possibility whatsoever of holding leaders accountable for anything. (Of course, this implicates the Obama administration, too, since he decided to let Bush off the hook and, in fact, continued many of his worst policies.)

I’m not sure that I agree that Dubya is worse, but there for sure is a credible case for it. His idiocy in the Middle East is something the globe will never recover from.
