Not surprising considering the direction of the GOP, but absolutely insane to think the Republican Party has gone too far right for even Mitch McConnell. Incredible.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Yeah, I appreciate the fact he knows he's too old and wants a new generation to lead. He's done enough long term damage packing every single court he could with people just like him. I just don't think he thought that "Rapist of Underage Girls Big Head" and "Abortions are the leading cause of mass shootings" freak shows would be the move tho. Horrifying.
I don’t think it has anything to do with the direction of the GOP. Suggesting it has just puts him on some kind of moral pedestal. 0ne he most certainly does not deserve.
He is physically and mentally frail, and that’s it. Literally unable for the job. If he was in better health, he wouldn’t be going anywhere.
F off, McConnell, you’ve done enough damage.

Yeah, a much of a piece of sh!t he was, at least him and #45 are enemies. Best thing Mitch could do is expose #45 before he leaves office

Well, you can place some of the blame of McConnell packing the court on Senator Harry Reid (D) when he was majority leader. It was Senator Reid who changed the Senate rules on needing 60 votes to confirm judges to simple majority. McConnell warned Reid not to do that on the Senate floor. He said there will come a time when Democrats are not in the majority and this decision will come back to bite them. Sure enough, McConnell became majority leader and not only took advantage of this rule to confirm federal judges, he also changed confirming Supreme Court justices to simple majority.
