Midterms

So, George Conway was recently interviewed for a podcast and said what we all wanted many years ago, that Sociopathic Child Rapist should be removed from office. His second term has been nothing but a disaster and even his biggest supporters have left him. He is incredibly afraid of midterms because here's the thing: MAGAts don't care about Iranian school children. They don't care about Rainbow Community rights. They don't care about anyone but themselves. Which is why the insane gas prices (due to a war he started due to boredom with a Country that posed no imminent threat) was probably a bad idea. He has f*cked with his supporter's gas prices, food prices, and health care. The ONLY things they care about in the world.

His supporters are mostly uneducated white and Hispanic males, so all they see is right in front of them: At the pump, at the grocery store, at the pharmacy as I mentioned before. This war will not be over in time for Midterms. Wars aren't conveniently timed, after all. But I do think this time people are done. I think people realize how much of a threat he is daily. If MTG left the cult, I think most have by now. He is going to get absolutely crucified in the midterms and I think convincing GOP Senators, that his bi-polar way of doing things, (such as deciding something critical and changing his mind less than 24 hours later is affecting them in catastrophic ways) will be on board. They don't want to babysit an 80 year old toddler anymore, and I think this will also reflect with voters come November. His gross protege is not any better, but he isn't his boss.

Thoughts from American registered voters who plan to vote this November? Just curious.

The war was not due to boredom, it was due to Israel. He obeyed their every command, same as his predecessor.

Most elections to me are the lesser of two evils. If they both really suck than I have gone for a 3rd party person. I don't believe in socialism so I would never vote for somebody like Sanders or AOC. My congressional district is about 70% Democrat so it really does not matter who I would vote for. My main voting interest is in some local bond issues. I would be shocked if Democrats did not win the House and the Senate, we shall see. IMO, if Republican voters were smart and they are not most times they would hope Marco Rubio gets the 2028 nomination.

Israel has been a longtime ally of the US, but it is hard to argue with your post.

Sure. Vance was Senator for only 2 years before becoming VP. Rubio was highly respected Senator for 14 years and easily got confirmed as Secretary of State. He has better relationship with US Senators and that can be helpful as POTUS. By all accounts, he has done a good job as Secretary of State which is not easy with Trump as your boss. He is excellent with the media and gets praised for being a serious and policy driven figure. Let's be honest, Rubio is white Hispanic and not just another white male which is helpful in this country today. He is a Cuban American who speaks Spanish fluently. In addition, he just comes off as a really nice guy which is a huge difference from the current POTUS. IMO Vance will be seen as a Trump puppet and not his own man.

That's interesting about Rubio, I wonder why Sociopathic Child Rapist didn't choose him as his VP then.....

As a registered American voter who plans to vote this November, I have but one word to summarize my thoughts regarding this topic:

The Constitution mandates that if a Presidential nominee and his/her running mate are from the same state, the home-state's electoral votes cannot be counted in their favor. Mango Mussolini and Marco are both from Florida, and losing its 30 EVs to either Harris or null-and-void was too much of a risk when the VP decision was being made. Hence, VP Hillbilly Elegy. It's just one of those weird constitutional technicalities that still dictate our contemporary politics even though the principle behind it is dead.

Trump's home state actually being New York of course, changed to avoid the humiliation of losing it.

Actually Jay, Trump officially moved to Florida in 2019 and had already lost NY in 2016 Presidential election.

A sitting president losing their home state is different, doubly humiliating. Ego.
