Tickets generally go on sale a year and a half to two years in advance. I also read that the host city can get access to pre-sales. They then open up windows for purchase leading up to the event.

Now we have been advised that we will have a second chance for tickets later this month (July). I will be 81 years old for LA28.

We also hope for tickets for the Perth Gay Games in 2030, when I will be 83 years old.

And perhaps the Brisbane Summer Olympics in 2032, when I will be 85 years old.

Always the optimist!
