Gay Games

Sending my best to all the LGBTQ+ athletes preparing to participate in Gay Games XII in Valencia, Spain, this month!

We had planned to join them in running the 10K, but my health issues put a stop to that. The Games are open to everyone, including our friends in the straight communities. The only requirement for participation is that you have to be at least 18 years old.

Ever the optimist, I am planning to run/walk/crawl the Gay Games XIII in 2030 (Perth, Australia) when I will be a sprightly 83 years old.

Given that the "Gay Games" don't begin until June 27th, I would guess that "they" did not win. Whoever "they" is.
