A Rainy Day

Quite a day for those of us who call San Diego "home".

Another big storm on the way in a couple of days. Friends are gathering sand bags to help prevent water in their garages and homes. We had minor flooding in our street, but escaped anything major. Time will tell.

I don't know why someone would be so insensitive as to make light of the sufferings of others. California is in distress, yet this is what you post. I can only assume that this is to be expected when you have to share a website with despicable trolls and bullies.

I tried to engage in civilized discussion with you on this topic, but you blanked me. As you always do.

I find it hard to reconcile the fact that you are concerned with this crisis, while at the same time passively aggressively posting about your frequent long-haul travel.

Actually, instead of expressing some concern of many others in SD due to the storms you took the opportunity to take a shot at the OP. Really, do you think he is the only one that fairly often flies from coast to coast. Just for the fun of it, how much of a "carbon footprint" is Taylor Swift going to leave when she flies on her private jet from Japan to Las Vegas to see her BF play in the Super Bowl - lol. BTW - the OP made no mention of climate change crisis. He posted how the storm is affecting those in SD.

P.S. Zeppie, you see no link between this storm and the climate crisis? I despair.

Sorry but myself and many others are not going to stop flying around the country or the world on business trips or for pleasure. Any damage we might due is nothing compared to what the elites of this country do, and they are hypocrites. They preach how we should live and then do the exact opposite. Newsflash** If somebody is not responding to you on a topic, they simply don't want to engage with you on it.

Very simple and I have told you enough times. He started thread on "Beyonce" expressing he was excited to see her perform. You hijacked that thread and made it political. I know your answer by now that he created that thread because you created some other thread - lol. He does not go on your threads and try to change the original topic of your thread with his posts. OMG - ever think he enjoys flying to places and doing something besides posting on BWW. It is mindboggling to me how you seem to think everything is about you. Sad to say it but maybe you are paranoid. If he bothers you so much with threads, why do you bother responding?

So are you telling me every hurricane, snowstorm, tornado, heavy rains are all due to climate change and these things are just happening in the present time due to the evils of mankind and never before we were born. Yes, climate change is happening but if you would have listened to Al Gore years ago the earth would have been destroyed by now.

38 million Californians are under flood alerts this morning.

As an uninvolved observer, I think one has to be really, really dense to think that Jay is the problem rather than Highland Guy.

This is true, but that is to a large extent an effect of the exact dynamics we're talking about. I didn't know who either of them was as of maybe a year ago before this back-and-forth started on the OT board. It would probably be more accurate to say that I started out as a neutral observer.

That is nice of "Kdogg", but I have supported you also. The difference is I am objective and will call you out when I think you are wrong and have offered suggestions to change the perception some people have of you. Please look in the mirror and ask yourself why you get banned so often. I got banned once but at least I learned my lesson and have not been banned again.
