Al Roker to join Broadway cast of WAITRESS
 Oct 9 2018, 05:51:15 PM

I saw the show again this weekend and Al honestly isn't that bad. His Joe is a little more friendly and less grumpy than Dakin and the others but Take It From an Old Man was actually quite cute. Plus Al sings it in the original key which is a bit high so props to him!

Does anyone know if there is new Waitress merchandise with the new Sara Bareilles artwork? I'm looking for a magnet, poster, etc. Thanks!

Hamilton original cast signatures
 Dec 24 2017, 04:36:05 PM

yes, Lin is the silver signature in the center of the star. Oak (Okieriete Onaodowan) is the top right. I'm not positive about any others but I don't think any of the signatures are Chris Jackson, Renee Elise Goldsberry, or Daveed Diggs. Hope this helps!

Also, is no one talking about the real star of Waitress, John Cullum?!?! I mean, what a f*cking legend and I've heard so little about him in the show that I forgot he had even joined the cast. Screw, Mraz. I want to see Cullum.

While John Cullum truly is a broadway legend I just don't think he'

I heard from the same friend who told me she was the new replacement, that she had a family event all weekend. Natasha's name is on the billboard by the box office.
"

Natasha is the new Becky. She started 11/22 but had some unexpected family obligations, hence why Anastacia has been on for the past few performances. She will be back this week. Her contract is through the end of February.

Thank you! Both are available, so I think I'll do A24 - aisle and a little extra leg room sounds perfect!

Bronx Tale Rush Has anyone done the rush lately?
 Jun 15 2017, 12:55:49 PM

I rushed at the end of May around 12pm on a Saturday. There was no line and I got 2 obstructed view extreme side orchestra seats, maybe 5th row. Overall view wasn't bad at all, especially for the price.

Dear Evan Hansen Stage Door
 Jun 15 2017, 12:33:08 PM

When I saw it on a Friday night in February Rachel, Jennifer, Michael, Will, and Laura came out. When I saw it the Sunday before the Tonys everyone came out except for Will and Mike.

Josh Groban or Dave Malloy?

I want to go see Great Comet and tickets are almost $100 cheaper to see Dave Malloy. So my question is, who is the better Pierre?

In that case I think I'll go with Beautiful.

@talklesswinmore how early do you think I need to get to the theatre to do rush?

Thanks for all of the advice

Yeah, she likes Carole King's music. I honestly think she would be happy seeing either show, I'm just worried about Abby since i haven't heard anything about her performance.

So do you guys think it is worth it to see her in Beautiful over A Bronx Tale?

Thoughts on Abby Mueller in Beautiful? I want to take my mom to see either A Bronx Tale or Beautiful for her birthday but am not sure what word of mouth is about Abby's performance

The Last Ship
 Feb 6 2017, 06:47:47 PM

Two years after seeing The Last Ship on Broadway and I can't remember if the show had a souvenir program or not. I've been buying them for every show I've seen since and would like to add this one to my collection if it exists somewhere. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Waitress Stagedoor

Yeah, problem is I'm only able to see a matinee tomorrow. The only other matinee I've been to was for The Last Ship and a good amount of the cast stage doored. I've had good luck at evening performances but I wanted to find out about matinees. Thanks
