:) BTW, it is a great way to exercise. And I always find money on the sidewalk. ------------------------------------------------------------- "I'd rather be a workaholic than an alcoholic. I walked from 1 Broadway down on Wall Street all the way up to 42nd Street several times. So yes, I've been on Broadway.

re: SHREK Reviews Dec 19

Shrek has rather limited appeal. Sillyass kid's stuff. Any good parents would snack the little buggers who would whine to see it. None of we stodgy adults would see it. And there lots of us in that category. So Shrek is a loser. I like sentimental, romantic musicals. ----------------------------------------------------------- Horses.h-i.t Agnes, this ain't love. re: Biggest Lie in Broadway History? Dec 17
2008, 11:02:44 PM
The biggest lie is that Broadway thinks it has to go completely nuts on scenery and high-tech related props and efx to get an audience. The lack of audience attests to this lie/misconception. Detroit and Broadway have much in common. Think about it, ye that think. :) I remain, jk

LAL! I'm sure glad somebody brought this up because I had the same experience and wonder. I'd say Mary Martin has much in common with Barbara Streisand in opposite voice polarity. Conclusion? Tis just one of the deep dark secrets of show biz. One their producers (or seducers) know f
