Can see 3 shows in NYC
 Apr 13 2016, 10:59:42 AM

I couldn't agree more with the others in the thread recommending Daddy Long Legs. It's a great show for young girls with beautiful music. And they always have deals running on tickets!

I would also recommend Something Rotten and Finding Neverland- great for all ages! I wouldn't recommend American Psycho for ages 16 and 12. I saw it recently and there's a lot of sex in it and it can get pretty graphic

I absolutely LOVED Blackbird. I thought it was phenomenal and the performances were just incredible- but you have to be prepared for a heavy, disturbing play. But, I also love She Loves Me, and if you want to venture Off-Broadway, Daddy Long Legs is a great choice!

American Psycho Rush
 Apr 4 2016, 03:42:25 PM

I rushed last Thursday and arrived around 9:15am and only 3 people were in front of me and no one else arrived after me. I received Row F, the last 2 seats all the way on the right and I have to admit, the view was extremely obstructed. Usually I've never had an issue with partial view, but my friend and I had trouble seeing a lot of things that happened upstage and also a few things on stage left. Luckily, we found 2 unclaimed seats in center orchestra that we were able to move to d

I saw Daddy Long Legs recently and almost all seats were filled! I love the show so much, I've seen it twice. You should definitely go again!

Was rush announced anywhere yet?

what is the OFF BROADWAY show to see?
 Mar 16 2016, 10:29:53 AM

Daddy Long Legs is great and they're listed on a lot of discount websites like Goldstar, Groupon, and they're on TDF if you're a member! I know a lot of people who have gotten discount tickets through that way.

I rushed Blackbird last week for a Tuesday night performance and got there around 9:15am and received front row center tickets.

I actually really loved the show and I'm seeing it again tonight!

I'm obsessed with the music from Waitress, I love Sara Bareilles! The Daddy Long Legs cast album is amazing- the music is so beautiful.

Partial view seats in Richard Rodgers

I sat in M 17 and my view was nearly perfect. The only thing I missed was when someone was standing on the top left of the staircase, which wasn't that often.

Thinking of buying tickets on TDF, but it says seats may be in the Rear Mezz- did anyone else buy them when it said this, but ended up with Orch seats?

NYC broadway and off broadway shows must see

I know my friend got a great deal on tickets for Daddy Long Legs on Valentine's Day if you wanted to add that to your list!

must see shows for my NYC April trip?
 Feb 12 2016, 11:02:19 AM

I already have my tickets for Waitress and She Loves Me, so I'm really excited about those two- they have a lot of hype. And Waitress had a great run at the ART, so I recommend that!

For Off-Broadway, definitely look into Daddy Long Legs! The music is so beautiful and it's one of the best Off-Broadway shows out there right now.

what is the OFF BROADWAY show to see?

I saw Smokefall last weekend. I thought Zachary's Quinto's performance was great (all the other actors had excellent performances as well), but I didn't love the play in general. It fell short for me. The whole concept of the show was interesting, but I didn't walk away going "wow!" Act 2 was also a bit confusing.

I would say definitely Something Rotten, but I saw Fiddler recently and LOVED it! And if you want to look for any Off-Broadway shows, Daddy Long Legs is one of the best ones right now!!

I also agree with Daddy Long Legs. I can't stop recommending it to everyone! I love love love it. But I also think Dear Evan Hansen is going to be great- I'm excited for that! And Dry Powder is definitely going to be a must see for me.

How do you organize your playbills?
 Feb 3 2016, 10:47:16 AM

I agree with others on the Official Playbill binder. I'm on my second one now and they keep my playbills in great condition. I think it's heading down the path where I purchase a new one every other year, which really isn't that bad! And when you purchase ones they come with the sleeves, or you can buy extra ones on Playbill that are relatively inexpensive.

I thought he was great! Especially in Greased Lightning and You're the One That I Want!

My favorite Broadway show right now is Something Rotten! It's so unique and fun, and I've seen a lot of theatre lately. But if you want to try Off-Broadway, I HIGHLY recommend Daddy Long Legs! It's such a beautiful show- definitely check it out!
