re: Is Stephen Sondheim Overrated??? Oct 22

"If anything, far too many critics and audience members do not fully understand his shows and they tend to dismiss them as "boring", or "pretentious." Usually people that don't like his shows are those who want easy tunes, cheap laughs or overblown romanticism - They don't want to have to think about musicals They want everything served in pre-fab bite-sized bits, like a McHappy meal" Ah, the Sondheim snobs. It's not enough to simply admire The Master's works - one has to look down

And don't forget....bring SMALL BILLS: $1s, $5s, $10s. Changing $20s (the only thing that ATM Machines spit out) all day is rough on the vendors.

"Like one of those nerds that ya pick on in high school when you steal his lunch money and force him to perform certain acts in the locker room..." So, THAT'S the cut scene from HAIRSPRAY!

Guillermo, we're located in the alley behind the Twirly-Freeze that's next to next to the Wash-0-World Laundromat, right across from the second-level entrance to the Queens Midtown Tunnel. You won't be sued provided you pay the teensy copyright licencing fee of $25.00 (plus a non-refundable handling fee of $150.00). Cash only, please.

These are otherwise excellent shots - yet they don't truly capture his beautiful blue eyes. They are too much in shadow.

These are terrific photos of the talented Mr. Arden. Glad he's gone back to his natural chestnut-brown hair. Those bleached ClubBoi tips were SO WRONG.

re: Mary Tyler Moore To Return To Broadway After Nearly 20 Years Jul 25

I don't hate Sally Field at all, but my gawd...she really stole that Oscar from Mary Tyler Moore, whose performance in ORDINARY PEOPLE was shattering. I somehow feeel the Oscar loss put a real crimp in her big-screen career. No subsequent film of hers came close in quality to that.
