I think that George Hearn should have adapted, he is damn near talented enough...Oh well, I guess I need to go and see the show for a ninth time and see what this is all about!

It's called 'Sweeney Todd starring George Hearn and Patti LuPone' reading is hard. Try the internet.

re: Patty Duke

I love Patty Duke. Remember when she did that movie on LIFETIME...oh wait...that is every movie on lifetime. She really is great though. I don't understand half the people who have stars on the hollywood walk of fame. I don't understand half the people are famous, actually. kinda like the olsen trolls...twins.

Oh, and I am not disputing that your school in Michigan has been successful as well...it's just that AMDA students are usually a little more humble about these things, pet.

yea, and I dont know about this Betty/Bernadette thing either. I adore Berny too much. If Betty was so good, why didnt it last. Although sometimes the best shows don't make it long, so who knows.

Actually 'brunette', AMDA has turned out with quite a few successful alumni. If you are going into this busines sto win a Tony like that fat rat Marissa Jaret Winokur, choose another business, cause it's likely NOT to happen. Winning a Tony does not guarantee success. Successful is all of the HUNDREDS of AMDA students who are getting job after job out there and surviving in a performing arts world. I am not going to even question why it has a bad reputation. But I agree with Shesings when it

usually...i bottom...and i tried crawling down Kev Andersons throat and it didn't seem to go anywhere. I don't like your attitude or your tone of voice. All I am saying is that I adore Patti LuPone. I want to have her children. My 'not cuttin it' had nothing to do with getting in the p*rn business, it's just that when I called the number on your card and your mom answered...well, anyone would be scared off.

re: why is aida closing??
 Aug 17 2004, 05:22:13 PM
I like AIDA...but it is getting old is all. I haven't seen Deborah Cox. I'm sure she is fine in the role.

agreed. And I get what you are saying about Kevin Anderson. But i think the quality of his voice is very...i dont know...EMPTY. I didnt say that I LOVED Alan Campbell either. I prefer when John Stamos was in the role. What are you talking about, you ask? just a fantasy.
re: Isn't it time we changed the name of a couple more Broadway theatres?
 Aug 17 2004, 04:46:30 PM
READ WHAT I WROTE!!!!! I said sub-names are okay...it's called compromise. BUT not all, but many of the names were given for a reason! All I am saying is, you guys are being kind. I am surprised we are not voting on the Idina Menzel theater.
