Help! In need of sheet music
 Mar 15 2005, 06:09:33 PM
Hi,
I am looking for a copy of a beautiful duet titled "Tonight" from the musical EFX. It was a Vegas show that starred Micheal Crawford a few years back. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of this music or a selections book from the show, I would greatly appreciate it. Please feel free to email me--MrsPooh523@aol.com.
Thanks!
Lori Beth

Apparently "Mr." Al-Dente, you did not undertand my message... Your apology should be for the entire audience you insulted by calling them "Misguided Teens" for enjoying such a show...worry about your own musical intelligence, or lack thereof.

I suppose I am amazed and yet dissapointed by the commentary on this thread. First, I would like to thank all of you who have positively contributed to the actual topic of this thread that I began. I was very careful to post the message I did, for fear of not wanting to contribute to the whole love verses hate Wicked argument. I was hoping many of you would be able to provide me with some musical intellect regarding the score. Thank you to those that did.

Now, the dissapointment. I CAN

"Musical Secrets" in Wicked

Does anyone know of any "Musical Secrets" within the score? I was able to pick out the notes from the phrase "Couldn't be Happier" is "Follow the Yellow Brick... (Road") I am curious as to what you all may have discovered out there...
Thanks!

OK-- usually, I spend most of the time on this board reading these posts...I can't help myself though on this topic- I have to respond...as a "Legit" singer, I will tell you the reason you see less and less of them, is because is harder! It requires painstaking years and years of vocal training. If you have mastered "legit" singing, you are able to have a seemless vocal range including using a belt voice. Think of singers such as Liz Callaway, Rebecca Luker, Jai Rodriguez, Kristin Chenoweth--- a

There is a product you can purchase over the counter- It is called Alkalol, and it is a mucus thinner. It is packaged in what looks like a hydrogen peroxide bottle- Gargle with warm water... Doing a thorough warm up with lots of humming up and down the scales will help clear things up a bit. Drink lots of water. Stay away from milk products before singing, and a good nights sleep will definitely assist you. I hope this helps. If this is a persistent problem, you may want to consider seeing an EN

My Wicked Tickets...
 Jul 31 2004, 11:19:13 AM
I have 2 tickets to see Wicked, which I purchased from Ticketmaster. Even though I viewed the seating chart, I have no idea wheather or not it is partial viewing or if I will need binocluars. My seats are in orchestra- row K, seats 14 and 16...any thoughts from those who know the Gershwin theatre space well? Any assistance with this would be most appreciated! Thanks so much!!!

Ok- so this is getting crazy...I booked my second show to see Wicked...and I couldn't get full price tickets in a reasonable viewing area until September 21st! Uggh! and even there I am in (Row K)in a corner on a Tuesday night...I really hope we don't get understudies because it is so early in the week...anyone know if historically this happens? What are my chances I will see Idina on Tues?
Thanks!
