I finally got to see hair with Gavin it Sat night. He was so amazing I can't even find the words to describe it. I still need to recover.
I was super suprised to see he had the boot off after the show.. and can't believe how well he was moving around and still dancing on peoples chairs!

I was at the rally on Friday as well and he is so damn inspiring.

Is there anything this man can't do?

Just got back from the 11:30 show. It was amazing. I think it was the same set as the 9:30 but he added "these four walls" (at least I think he said he didn't do it at the first show. )
Anyways I'm totally out of it cause I've been up since early.. But the new stuff
was fantastic. I'm obsessed with "love fell down". I'm so excited for the new cd.
Gavin was really in to singing in the dark.
He also made an announcement about broadway impact teaming up with Cyndi Lauper for sho

The first time I saw a show by myself was out of necessity (I just moved abroad to london for a semester and hadn't made friends yet and was so excited to hit up the west end) ... but the expirence was so amazing I have continued it for the last 4 years.

Sure- I still see a lot of shows with people , but whats better than picking your own show , getting the best seat (or the seat you can afford thats all the way in the back) , and not having a person with you to worry about. It's also

I went on Sunday for my birthday all excited to see Gavin and he was out. Chances are he wouldn't be out again so soon.
Hopefully I will at least get tix to his second Joe's pub show .

I went tonight.

One of the worst things I have seen on stage anywhere. Period.

I don't even know how to begin reviewing it.

I had comp tickets, but I am embarassed that I even brought my friend and wasted 2 hours of her life.

And I really have found joy in every show I've ever seen on stage (even including cruise ship shows! or highschool shows! or summerstock!) .

I feel really bad for the actors - I know they were trying... but there is nothing that they could do to save this show.

Pretty much Deycallmemimi2 NAILS it. SOOO true.

I spoke with the box office guy. He said $26.50 - 2 per id . Whatever seats are left 2 hours before. Cash only.
He said there was a very good chance for good seats this weekend.

I'm pretty excited. I was walking by the theatre tonight and Jeremy Piven popped out of the stage-door right as I was passing. :)

re: Number of times you've seen a specific Broadway show.
 Jul 11 2007, 01:54:53 AM
Wow.
I've probably seen Rent about 15 times over the years. I went a few months ago and was bored (and I really really loved that show "back in the day") .
Otherwise I've pretty much seen everything else once or twice. I saw company 4 times..
I've seen Avenue Q 4 or 5 times taking everyone I know to see it when it first came out.
