producers advance showing Dec 9

Just saw The Producer's in Adelaide Australia. what a great romp. It had that fabulous feel of an old broadway musical, you know like it was filmed on a sound stage, rather that trying too much to make it feel real. Broderrick overacted however five minuted into the film i was comfortable with that, it worked! I am still not sure about Farrell, there is something that bothered me, can't place my finger on it yet. Perhaps he adlibbed a little and Strowman didn't know when to pull the rei

David is an old friend from his home town of adelaide, well actually he was scruffing my girlfriend while we had some "time apart". David is a top bloke and had done well for himself, His career would not be where it is today if it were not for the fame of his father Jimmy BARNES. David is however very talented in his own right.... with a more pleasing voice than his dad! David has released a couple of CD's. One that I can think of is "Taking the wheel" which has a beatifil song called "Yard sale" http://www.swia.demon.co.uk/CampbellCD1.htm

well thats hard, He is no longer alowed to preform the "wild party" as the owner of the other wild party owns the rights to the poem and won't allow him to call it the wild party so, there were collections from the show and it was called a wild party with Andrew LIPPA. Confused?

Thank you for informing me about the work shop thing - as I mentioned before we are a long way from broadway here so we don't get to know all the inside info. and yes i agree it would have been heartbreaking for Stephanie to not be given the opportunity to perform a role she had worked on for so long. Musical theatre is a very political thing & crap like that happens all the time but with all that said, I'm sure Idina would not have been given the role if producers had not thought her to be the

Being from down under, I've only been able to see the promotional footage of the various Elphaba's in Wicked. Each performer has to find their own Elphaba in order to make the character real so I can understand people having a favourite BUT what I don't think is fair is to make statements like "she's so much better than Idina" when Idina is the performer who actually created the character from scratch. Each of the performers who followed Idina in this amazing role would have drawn on Idina's p
