Marla Mindelle's BIG GAY JAMBOREE at the Orpheum Off-Bway, produced by Margot Robbie. Fall 2024.

I saw it Thursday night - it began maybe around 7:11p and ended at 8:55p.
GWYNETH GOES SKIING - Satiric Musical based on Paltrow lawsuit to premiere in London

I saw this (the production Huss417 posted the trailer for) at the Fringe and wound up walking out about 30 minutes into it. It leaned too heavily on the same handful of jokes (that weren't witty or clever enough to deserve being done to death) and grew tiresome, especially after having seen their Diana one from last year.

I saw this on Tuesday. (fairly spoiler-free comments)

I found the play itself to have a more nuanced take on AI than the handful of others I'd seen recently, but abandoned too many ideas and left too much unresolved by its abrupt end. Tonally, it felt a bit strange: from what little information was offered about the

Gambled on “select orchestra” seating and ended up with front row aisle seating on the left. I’m quite pleased. Being up close to see these phenomenal actors again is so exciting! Now I need to score two extra tickets for the kids, but they can sit further back! 😁"

Richard Kraft to produce musical comedy inspired by viral Willy Wonka disaster

Yikes. I saw this yesterday, coming in with rock bottom expectations, but unable to resist the possibility that it may have something interesting to contribute, but it's an unmitigated disaster. I left 15 minutes in (and had the awkward moment of trying to exit house left, finding my path behind the seating blocked, and having to sort of make my way into the wings to exit without crossing the stage). I've seen over 40 shows so far this Fringe, and have patiently sat

Has anyone who ordered tickets directly from the Lucille Lortel's site received a confirmation email? I ordered mine yesterday a couple of hours after the announcement and hadn't received anything (though I did see an order confirmation web page and at least had the presence of mind to make a PDF out of it and add the Apple Wallet pass to my phone).

Saw this tonight - I'm in the camp that found the ending disappointing (very mild spoiler)...

The play had posed a lot of interesting questions that I felt it abandoned as it took that turn in its final moments. And as for what we got, I would have liked to have seen a more ambiguous reaction from the therapist,

'CATS: The Jellicle Ball' at PAC reviews

I'd caution against sitting in the center seats of the front row of the lower balcony (Row O 224-228). You may think it's a premium seat, equivalent to the first row of the front mezzanine in a typical theater, but the section does NOT overhang the orchestra. It's actually BEHIND the orchestra with a walkway in between, and you wind up with a partial view of the stage/catwalk, with the front third completely obstructed.

With the sh*y view and the sound mix being very muddy/unintelligibl

I'm glad you mentioned this, because it also felt very out of place for me. I've seen the Bard/Armory/Broadway iterations of it, and every time the audience laughed during that moment, dulling the under

APPROPRIATE Reviews

I saw the Belasco transfer tonight and was kind of shocked at how much sound from outside bled through into the theater. I can't even count the number of times I heard Empire State of Mind blaring and overpowering the non-amplified sound from the stage.

I was at last night's show too! I found myself a bit annoyed at the audience for laughing so much at tense moments, especially in Act IV (not to mention there was a constant beeping noise coming from the audience ev
