Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Seating/Pricing Thread
 Jun 13 2018, 02:36:09 PM

I saw the show on May 31st and June 1st, Row X, Seat 27. I had a perfect view of the entire stage. I only missed one moment at the end of Part 1 due to the overhang of the mezzanine, but I had no complaints otherwise.

Follow up: I got a seat in balcony C, seat 3. It was a great view, only missed 10% of stage left. The show is great, just long. A lot of audience members didnt make it to curtain.

Got to the theatre at 9:00am and was the 8th person in line. Got a ticket in Box C, will report back after on my view from the seat.

Opinion on Row X, Left Orchestra? I'm seat 27 and nervous that I won't have a good view...

Does anyone know how the view is near the back of the orchestra? I'm seat 27, Row X in the left orchestra. Hoping my view isn't terrible...

Iceman Cometh cast?

I was also hoping for a little more star power, but like you said, the actors they went with are all very underrated. Bobby Cannavale would have been so great. I love Bill Irwin though. He was fantastic in Waiting for Godot.

I'm excited to see Bill Irwin, Frank Wood, and David Morse in the cast. Was hoping for Bobby Cannavale but this cast is solid.

I'm surprised this cast still hasn't been revealed yet. I figured it would have happened by now.

Agreed. It would also be a great look for him to act alongside Denzel Washington.

I love Joe Forbrich! He's an excellent actor. Got to see him perform in Chicago with Shattered Globe years ago.

I'd also love to see Bobby Cannavale in this. I'm hoping his post wasn't a throwback to his performance in "The Hairy Ape" and he's actually in it. I'm going to buy my tickets soon either way. Can't miss with George C. Wolfe and Denzel.

I wonder when the cast will get announced. I'm excited for this, can't wait to hear what George C. Wolfe has cooking.

I saw Book of Mormon there and the view wasn't ideal, and that was mid-level orchestra. The theatre feels deep if anything, so while huge might not be the best way to describe it, it is a large house.

Some of the ones I was looking at are Orchestra, row E, seat 16, which is 3 seats in from the aisle. Also, mezzanine row C, seat 13 which is again 3 seats in from the aisle. Are these serious view obstructed or is it because of an overhang you won't see a minute or so of the performance? There just seems to be a ton of "partial view" seats which makes me a little worried."

I would avoid it. The Private Bank Theatre is huge. IMO, it's too big. Due to its size, the sight lines can be awful depending on where you're sitting. Prime seats are the center orchestra and center mezz. Use the link below when getting your tickets, it gives you the best idea on what you're getting yourself into.

There are some available at the end of the sale period e in March in the orchestra-- but they're all premium despite a few singles that are obstructed view at 177. The premium price isn't out of the question (495 I think) but I'd rather try to get a regular priced one...

I got lucky and snagged three mezz seats for January 20th. KEEP LOOKING. More tickets

Anybody trying to get the reclaimed scalper tickets this week? I gave up during the initial sale, but I'd love to catch a pair this week.

The Color Purple - rush/student tickets ?

Is there a chance that there will be tickets available for rush tomorrow? I know it's Jennifer Hudson's last show, so I don't want to go and leave empty handed.

Waitress May 8 Matinee
 May 4 2016, 04:09:26 PM

Hey guys,

I'm trying to track down two tickets for the Sunday matinee of Waitress. I'm aware that they do standing room, but it's only day in town and I don't want to leave it to chance if I can rush something else. If anyone has any ideas or knows of where I can find a pair for a decent price, PLEASE let me know. Thanks a lot.

Really hoping they still have rush tickets. I'm coming up in May and want to see the Sunday matinee, but not trying to pay full price.
