To jayinchelsea, I am not a fan of phantom or les mis. I recently watched Newsies, and found it to be a total bore. I was able to catch Hunchback in La Jolla, and I was deeply moved. It was definitely an experience. I may be in the minority, however, as I didn't find Page's performance as great as everyone has stated. I liked him better as the Green Goblin. I saw the show last week. It was pretty bad. Acting and singing were horrible, but it seems as if that was a directorial choice. The book was weak and the songs were beyond horrible. I really wanted to like it as I love nofx and musical theatre, but this was not good at all.

I saw the tour at the Ahmanson in LA and the Orpheum in SF. Both times the 1st act ended with "Bring it on," not "It's All Happening."

I agree with geissap on every word. I too had received many recommendations to visit SNM. I found it completely overrated and overpriced. I do not think the sets were impressive,especially, in comparison to the incredible amount of detail used for events such as Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando/Hollywood. I understand they are not the same, however, a better comparison can be made between SLM and HHN as you walk through various sets and locations versus watching a set of a production on sta

I saw the show tonight. I absolutely loved it! Most of the cast was outstanding, especially Molly Ranson. Anne Tolpegin was on for Margaret White. I was not impressed. I have not seen Marin Mazzie in the role, so I can not make a comparison. Derek Klena as Tommy Ross was bad. His voice was not up to par with the rest of the cast, and his acting choices were mediocre at best. I didn't mind Jeanna De Waal as Chris. I actually liked "The World According to Chris." She played Chris as a mean girl.

I went to see next to normal in SF last week. The first couple of rows of the orchestra were empty as much of the house was. First time seeing next to normal and I was extremely excited, I did not enjoy the show. Most of this had to do with Alice Ripley's voice. She can definitely act, but her voice made me cringe. I know she can sound great, but the low tone and screechiness of her voice that night was very distracting to the show. I wish I would have seen it with Pearl Sun. I had taken

I saw the show this past Saturday. I would have bought tickets to the finale, but I travel from California, andI had to work today. It was amazing, the audience was electric. Final In The Heights Weekend

I just got back from today's matinee performance. The energy in the theatre was electric. The cast was amazing! I had to hold back my tears a few times. Ive seen the show 9 times, and I live in Los Angeles. There were a lot of in the heights fans where I was sitting. We were all having a good time. Thank you to the In The Heights Cast and crew, and major props to Olga Merediz, Chris Jackson, and Lin Manuel. This is a night I will remember always. So sad to see it end.

According to the article below, it seems only part of the ending was installed this week, the rest of the ending will be installed next week."It won't all be in until next Wednesday, December 23rd." Isn't next Wednesday December 22nd?
