Did anyone else think that Hannah deFlumeri's speaking voice sounded exactly like Selma Blair in the movie?

Legally Blonde Non-Equity 2010-2011 Tour Dates
 Sep 24 2010, 01:14:08 AM
I just got back from tonight's performance.
A few thoughts:
I hadn't really been keeping up with the show once it closed in NY, so the script changes were a little surprising, but still worked.

The cast, for the most part, was amazing. Nikki Bohne was amazing as Elle and Jillian Wallach as Paulette had us cracking up, as did Margot, Serena and Pilar. But Matthew Ragas as Warner was...odd. His speaking voice sounded so weird, like he was overcompensating on the "toughness".

I died laughing.

I occasionally see Leslie Kritzer online and I've wondered what would happen if I tried to talk to her via chat, but never actually intend on doing so.
Ebay CD collection listing
 Sep 15 2010, 09:15:22 PM
I always start my ebay auctions at .99 cents. It's a gamble, but for me it's worked 95% of the time, breaking even or making more than what I paid. My biggest loss with that method was on a ticket to see Chelsea Handler in Atlanta...the show was sold out, but she added another show the day after I posted it, so I only got about half of what I paid...

wow...rant over. =)

Hm, I'm in the Florida panhandle and it usually takes 3 days tops. But, it's free regardless, whether you're buying $5 or $50 worth of stuff.

It's also almost the same price at Barnesandnoble.com:
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbninquiry.asp?EAN=9780307460738&x=

...$17.54 (32% off), plus if you're a member you get express free shipping.

Although it's not applying my member discount to the book, I guess I have to wait until it's released until I can use it on the book?

Sweeney Todd - A Little Priest Question

It took me a full year after I first heard the score to get the Locksmith joke...I was too embarrassed to ask anyone.
Cast Album CD reissues. Worth the upgrade? Pippin, Merrily..., etc.

After reading this thread, I realized that I never heard the original cast recording of Nine. I saw the revival and have loved that cast recording, it just never occurred to me to get the original, so I finally did last night, and I'm glad I did. I heard the score like never before and the performances can't be beat!

What is a memory from a show that will stay with you forever?

The entire final performance of Grey Gardens was one of the best (and most traumatic) theater experiences of my life...I was sobbing so hard during Another Winter In A Summer Town that I couldn't even see Christine Ebersole onstage. Such a wonderful show.

Oh, same here...I'm pretty sure I was crying about 85% of the time...I still get chills when I think about it.

Another performance I will never forget is seeing Tina Landau and GrooveLily's adaptation of A Midsummer Nig

-When the Man In Chair's apartment transformed into the set of The Drowsy Chaperone. I got chills.

-The closing performance of Grey Gardens. Another Winter In A Summer Town. Holy f*ck.

-More recently, during Night Music, when Alexander Hanson went "..and of course, Fredrika." and the music swells, I legit started sobbing.
