for your information..and I know you are just trying to be cute or funny, but that WAS correct grammar. I could care less or I couldn't care less means pretty much the same thing in American English. I've studied Linguistics...
For the record, it's not "hate" I'm just replying an opinion, like everyone else does, to a topic.
thank you

Footloose!
Use of Microphones on Broadway

Miked is the best choice. Nobody wants to go to a un-miked show...even if they favor it. it's like those fools who say "LP's are better than CD's" No, they are not. Get over it and move on....
I don't care what patty luPone says, I want to HEAR the singers.
As long as it's not BLASTEd and used correctly

I Finally Saw 'The Addams Family' and...

...I've been avoiding this show, because I know that I will feel exactly the same way.
...and although I have a few shows I want to see before,,I kinda have a morbid curiosity lol

'Next to Normal' -- worth a trip from NH to NYC?
 Oct 3 2010, 05:02:29 PM
Definitely worth it, BUT....isn't Next To Normal going to be playing in Boston when it tours AND Alice Ripley will be in the cast....just a thought and I'm not sure how often you can get to NYC, but maybe go see it in Boston when it's on tour and come to NYC and see another show..that way you can see N2N and still make it down to NYC to see another show
Would I enjoy/understand August: Osage County?
 Oct 2 2010, 12:55:57 AM
I think Degrassi and similar Television shows have raised many of the same issues that August: Osage County has....but it has some cursing. nothing we all have not seen before I think you should go for it.
It's awesome watching that much dysfunction on stage
..then when the movie comes out you can compare acting and story structure

Daniel Evans as Bobby in Company??
 Oct 1 2010, 08:56:52 PM
There is something about what the Bobby character should portray, successful, urban, very NYer, lady dater...and I don't get that vibe from this guy at all. I think he's miscast as well, but what the hell do I know?
nah, I'll stand by that, I think he's miscast.
I got the gay vibe from him in Act 2 as well

Can I Take my 12 year old son to see BBAJ
 Sep 28 2010, 11:27:07 PM
I think you know your son better than anyone here. I saw it and there is cursing and maybe a few "suggestive" moments, but I think it would be ok as long as you were there with him. No nudity....and it's a history lesson as well
PBS Great Performances suggestions for this year?
 Sep 25 2010, 09:18:56 PM

PBS Great Performances suggestions for this year?

Isn't all Sondheim's works filmed at some point? SITPWG, Into The Woods, passion, Company...I would think they have A little Night Music planned already. Of, course I'm trying to convince myself
