I don't know what show you saw, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Curtians. I saw it the same night as you, and that was up there in the worst of the worst. Bad pacing, stupid, boring, no memorable songs, boring cast (though I will say Debra Monk was very good), and way. Too. Long. I can't wait for the reviews!

If you can see two, see Spelling Bee and Drowsy. What day of the week are you going (if it's a monday, do the spelling bee LOTTO)

I don't even think they'll be open long enough to attempt stunt casting.

Tick Tick Boom isn't gonna hit Broadway any time soon. I agree with Margo.

The cancelation tix are the regular price. The lotto is basically impossible. Little 12 year olds go home crying almost every day... it's sort of pathetic. Wicked is going to be hard to get in, expensive, and (IMO) not worth the trouble. See Spelling Bee, the excellent Barret Foa's in it now, and the show's very fun/witty. Don't try the lotto. It's usually populated with people who lost the Wicked lotto and want to see something

I'm not trying to sound bitchy (and I know I do), but sum- what does his solo music being boring have to do with the conversation? I personally didn't love it.. but I don't know what it has to do with the conversation....?

I'm also looking to see 'commercialized' JRB. I don't think he's capable as a composer to write something that pop-y and annoying, but we'll see with 13.

Haha, I have the insane spontaneity to be.. spontaneous? I just live in my own world. Or, in our concept, my own little hole. I don't think they would want High Fidelity at the O'Neil... they probably want it to be a big splashy thing.. I personally think the Hirschfield.

Hairspray has also gone up because the Duff is in it. I think the easiest lotto right now is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
