re: Hair Rush!

I bought tickets the other day and the box office person said it would probably be a lotto. Nothing's final yet, though.

I was just thinking, "Hey, I work in Chelsea...I'll just take my camera to work."
re: Who shot Mindy? The investigation.

To be fair, Mindy WAS rather rude to Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson when Jeff kicked him out at Christmas...

I agree with NDG2225. That white envelope is mysterious. Perhaps Larry organized the whole event and Cheyenne carried it out. That Larry has the look of a mastermind.

re: Jonathan's Claude vs Christorpher's Claude

I saw both of them and while they were both wonderful performances, Jonathan Groff had the chemistry with the tribe that made the show that much more spectacular. One of my favorite elements of the show was Jonathan and Will Swenson's relationship, which had obviously been developed over a rather extensive period of time, and that just wasn't there with Christopher.
Christopher Hanke's was a solid performance, but he just doesn't have the history with the rest of the cast that Groff had. I'l

I saw the show a few weeks ago and was absolutely blown away by the entire cast. Eden Espinosa is f-ing phenomenal. I've seen Rent a LOT and she's absolutely the most perfect and REAL Maureen I've ever seen. I was really impressed by pretty much the entire cast. It's a good one with which to end the show.

J* I was at the show Saturday night as well...what a performance!! That was the third time I'd seen the show and the energy has been phenomenal every time, but this one was more elevated than the rest. Whether it was because of Jonathan Groff's departure, the original cast members in the audience, or what have you, it was spectacular. I'll be back several times, since it was extended again. It's bringing such a beautiful message to the world. This was definitely the right time for this show.
re: HAIR - wait line survival guide!

BUG SPRAY!! Bug spray bug spray bug spray. I would've been eaten alive by mosquitos had the nice man in front of me not offered some of his.

If you're with friends, bring a deck of cards, or maybe a board game or two. That's usually how you end up making friends. (I now bow to the friend-making power of Yahtzee!)

Waiting in line is a fantastic part of the HAIR experience...I've done it twice now (as of toay) and plan to go back a few more times. Can't wait for tonight's show! <

COPULATE IN A KING-SIZE BED!!

Hair on Broadway is all I really need to complete my life. Too bad they can't just let it play in the park forever...it was meant to be performed outside.

The lyric is "How dare they try to end this beauty?"

How have the ticket lines been? A big group of my friends and I are planning to camp out tonight for tickets to tomorrow's show...how early should we get there?

Jonathan Groff's wig looked a lot less skanky than the pictures I've seen. I was pleased.
The nudity was there (it wouldn't be Hair without it) but it was tastefully done, as defyingravity11 said, in silhouette.
I sat by several past and present Spring Awakening cast members and they all giggled every time Jonathan came on with the handheld mic. :)

It's time for some jokey jokes and doodly doos on Broadway. Seriously y'all. Kiss.
re: The 12 Days Of Rentmas

Outrageous bump, since it's thaaaaaat time of year again! Welcome to the 12 days of Rentmas, friends. I remember 2 years ago when my dear friend TheatreDiva612 and I were sitting in my dorm room, laughing hysterically and writing these lyrics. It's been a good 2 years, yes AP?

Anyway, a very merry Rentmas to you all!

On the first day of Rentmas Jon Larson gave to me: A cold loft on Avenue B

On the second day of Rentmas Jon Larson gave to me: 2 starving artist

DGG I've seen the Dr. Bob soda and wondered about it before as well. My friends and I prefer Mountain Lightning, though, because it's only a quarter in those cheap-o drink machines at Wal-Mart.

How is Megan McGinnis? I saw Celia and her Eponine wasn't nearly as endearing as I thought she'd be...

Pretty much all of Make Them Hear You from Ragtime, but especially when he says, "When they hear you/I'll be near you again."
Also, the creepy laugh Michael Cerveris does during Epiphany in Sweeney. I have nightmares about that.

re: Male/Female Duet - help!!!

My current favorites are:

Don't Know Where You Leave Off from Sweet Smell of Success
Love Song from Pippin
Unworthy of Your Love from Assassins
All the Wasted Time from Parade
Sarah Brown Eyes from Ragtime
I'd Give It All for You from Songs for a New World
or if you want to do something funny, try either Romeo & Juliet from Reefer Madness or The Song that Goes Like This from Spamalot.

Not a musical, but I've always wanted to direct an all-male version of Steel Magnolias.
