re: Radio City Music Hall Xmas Spectacular- Live or Canned?
 Dec 4 2006, 03:37:37 PM
Here is some general info on the radio city show in NYC including orch. size.

Two casts usually comprise a full day of Xmas Spectacular performances.
Show requires 60 dressers on the deck plus additional wiggists, hat people, shoe people and general maintenance (stitchers, etc.).
350-400 total crew + cast to do the show
120 deck crew @ performance
NEVER the same crew members in the same track, performance to performance. A particular person might repeat a track or shift

I did 12 shows in 6 days one time, I would do it. Esp. if you don't get to NYC that often. Take advantage when you can.
re: Rent Tour (Chicago) Oh My!

I agree the Collins, Maureen and Joanne where really good. I also think the guy playing Mark had a great voice as well as Roger. The BIGGEST prob. is Mimi, I heard she is having some throat problems, but she needs to be replaced. I hate to say that about anyone, but she can't sustane a note with out having some weird jumps in it. Also yes it is very true thet Angel gets winded during today 4 u.

re: What show (that you haven't yet seen) would you turn down a free ticket to?
 Apr 5 2006, 12:54:35 PM
Well if its a free ticket I prob would go to anything. You really don't know if you are going to like a show until you see it. I have gone into shows thinking I would hate it because of reviews, etc... but when I left I loved the show.

As far as the snake we didn't use a puppet, just the 5 people dressed in like spandex stuff. They became the snake. Worked out really well.
