Into the Woods: the Witch My Fair Lady: Eliza, of course Wicked: Elphaba (I'd say Glinda, too, but I am quite un-Galindaish *ga-sigh*) If I were a man and could sing whatever I'd like... Fiddler: Tevye (!) My Fair Lady: Henry Higgins Oklahoma: Will

people/teenyboppers who obsess over Wicked and Idina...etc.. Proving someone with mild dyslexia shouldn't skim posts. That one became "obsess over Wicked in India." A tour in India!? My eyes almost fell out. Anyway, I don't have a problem with the teenyboppers (if they don't use webspeak, excessive capitalization or punctuation, or the word "enthuse" while ranting about their obsession and) if it might get them interested in the rest of the theatre world. Interest has

I saw said touring cast last December, and that night, Elphaba was Stephanie J. Block and G(a)linda was Katie Adams (u/s for Kendra). Great cast, awesome show. I've also heard that Julia's amazing, so I wouldn't worry. And if your show is anything like mine, you won't be disappointed. At all.

No Good Deed Finale of Wicked The end of the dream sequence in Oklahoma for some reason. Octet from Piazza Various parts in Phantom

What about Oklahoma? A few years ago, a junior high in my area did Oklahoma. Laurie, Ado Annie, and the EverlastingGiggler (whatever her name was) were great for a bunch of thirteen-year-olds, but I will never forget that poor boy who played Curly. Poor pre-pubescent kid. I think he sang higher than Laurie.

Stephanie, Idina (not at the Tony's, though. That scared me there... but perhaps my speakers are faulty or something), and Eden all rank as my favorites. Of what I've heard of Shoshana I like, but occasionally, she gets too bright even for me: "grav-ih-tEEE," "mEE." I do have to admire everyone who's done the song (er, in the show; no drunks), though, for really making it their own.

There are too many brilliant musicals, several for each mood I might be in, so I'll just name--in no particular order: Fiddler on the Roof Carousel My Fair Lady Meet Me in St. Louis Oklahoma! The King and I Into the Woods Wicked The Music Man The Sound of Music West Side Story The Light in the Piazza Phantom of the Opera Chicago L'il Abner I'm a nerd. Happily.
