I think it's a bad idea to write the lyrics of that song, but I also think that the school is overreacting.

The point is that there are roles for these middle-aged women. They don't still have to play ones that they could have played 20 years ago. Give the younger girls a chance!

Well if she was, she is hardly showing it in this clip.

I love how just because she has more vibrato, suddenly she is "classically trained."

Idina Menzel is not classically trained. Period.

Just because she is not screaming in this clip does not mean she is showing her "opera side." She has no opera side. This doesn't mean I don't like, I do. But please.

Alice in Wonderland would be so good.

And I know that Rogers and Hammerstein have a popular one, but the score to Disney's Cinderella is gorgeous. I think THAT version would be great on stage.

"So this is love"

"Sing Sweet Nightingale"

"A Dream is a Wish..."

"Bippity-Boppity Boo"

"Cinderelly"

just like amazing songs, IMO

re: Has Rachel York ever...NOT been brilliant?

vocally and acting wise she is stunning.

But the woman is physically GORGEOUS. One of the most beautiful women up close I have ever seen.

Recordings dont do her justice. She is an absolute thrill live.

When you say their voices were low, what do you mean?

Were they flat (underpitch)? or weren't loud enough?
