You know what I think would be good for Vegas - Is if they had a Broadway Hits Show.
A show of the hottest Broadway songs performed in character with minimal set pieces.
A 90 minute power house of hit songs.
What does everyone think about that kind of show for Vegas?

The touring show of Producers will continue however its not considered a professional version.
Has anyone seen the New Mel Brooks musical Frankenstein?
I wonder what Brooks will do next...?

Yeah... I'd LOVE to see Wicked in Vegas as long as they don't cut it. Which Vegas seems to always cut shows. That's one of the reasons in my opinion most Broadway shows do well off of Broadway because Vegas likes to put them at 90 mins....

The Producers had a good run in Vegas... for Vegas...
Its just that there are 2,000+ shows and each casino has 10 shows now. Its too much entertainment for one city in my opinion.
But then again NYC has a ton and it works.
Hmm.. I hope something new opens up at Paris soon. Since I work there and all. :)

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Producers Final Performance on February 9, 2008!
The most honored show in Broadway history, the MEL BROOKS musical comedy THE PRODUCERS, at Paris Las Vegas announced today that Tony Danza will continue his run as the famous Broadway theatrical producer Max Bialystock through February 9, 2008, ending the Las Vegas engagement.

I was bored at my house today and listening to the RENT soundtrack. I had the idea to do a video for Seasons of Love. My idea was to take the scene were everyone is standing on stage and singing "Seasons of Love" - take that scene and pretend to be everyone on stage at the same time. I did the video in one take.

Hello,
Just wanted to let you know that several members of the off-Broadway cast of Stomp! will be guests on The Celebrity Corner entertainment talk radio show this Sunday August 28th.
I saw the show last week for the first time. Glad I finally saw it. It was great to see all these common objects used to create music and the comedy of the show was amazing. The actors have great music ability and improv skills. My hat goes off to them for a wonderful show!

Has any one seen The Musical of Musicals: The Musical at the Dodger Stages?
I saw it last week and loved it. It is a satire about 5 different musical theater genres and tells the old tale of "I can't pay the rent, you must pay the rent, I'll pay the rent."
I thought the writing and composing was genious.
