I read in a Broadway book that there was a short revival of the Music Man with Dick Van Dyke in it. Does anyone have any information on it? is there a soundtrack? thanks!

i came in with pretty high expectations for Glinda from listening to Kristin Chenoweth on the CD, but i thought Megan was very great at acting and singing and was the nicest person ever at the stage door.

re: who will replace norbert and john? Aug 13
2005, 12:23:32 PM
i can see Kerry and Michelle as Christina Colgate. I can also see Kelsy Grammer as a good Lawrence. But I can't see Roger or Hunter as Freddy. They both seem too soft spoken for Freddy. and Steve Martin was an awesome Freddy in the 80's but he's just too old for that now.

re: EVERYONE BACK IN SPAMALOT? Aug 10
2005, 10:36:28 AM
I saw Spamalot a week and a half ago and John Bolton was very good. He was a very nice guy at the stage door too. He was real nervous (he said) to be taking Tim Curry's place. When they took the fan from the audience he said "You're not president of the Tim Curry fan club, are you?" Nice guy.

if she did do it, i have no doubt that she could belt out all the songs, but she is defenitly not the character type for elphaba. sutton foster rocks, but i dont think she could act it.

re: Ok, Grease!! Aug 7
2005, 10:56:05 PM
i like Grease a lot, but i don't love it. i like the broadway version a lot better than the movie though. The movie was TOTALLY centered around danny and sandy and i know thats the whole story, but the broadway version brought the rest of the Pink Ladies and Burger Palace Boys into play and brought out some fun characters.
