Good news! For us at least as we're in London in March.

Soft Power at the Curran Jun 24
2018, 06:08:22 PM
Saw this Saturday night 6/23. What a bloody mess of a show. How can a new show in 2018 about supposed events that took place in 2016 feel so dated? The first 20 minutes of "play" just needs to be eliminated. Wasted time and then the character of the author has to explain whats going to happen next anyway. Shouldn't you have done that in the "play" part? At intermission the people sitting next to us who we didn't know asked us if

SFCowboy said: "Question for folks. I have tix for April 17, which is the last day of previews. I figured that the show would be set by then. But it occurs to me that previews for a pre-Broadway tryout might not have the same significance they do on Broadway. In New York, once a show opens, I think it’s usually pretty much set.Afterit officially opens in San Francisco, will they still likely be making significant changes? If so, maybe it would be better to see it later in the r

I'm a Go Go's fan and this doesn't appeal to me at all. Keep in mind I hated Mamma Mia. I may go anyway, but the Curran had better post a discount code as the theater is virtually empty for most performances I've checked. The final matinee May 6th looks about 10% of capacity!

Biggest broadway flop Nov 1

Wouldn't the actual biggest Broadway flops be the ones that we're so bad they closed out of town? The Mambo Kings comes to mind.

Movies Closest to Musicals? May 5

The Producers was very close. Read some of the old threads on here from the time it came out and being "too close" to the original was one of the complaints.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away I was able to walk up to the SRO line at 5:45pm and have a ticket in my hand at 6:10 for $27. Long ago in April.

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/1 May 2
2011, 07:31:11 PM
Because it's potential gross is $1,334,271 meaning it's only reaching 59.91% of it's potential. That means it's heavily discounting to achieve that 99% attendance figure. That would be fine for a two year old show but this is a new show.

Book of Mormon Cancellation line Apr 15

I easily got tickets on a Tuesday in the SRO line. Got in line at 5:45 and had a ticket by 6:10 or so.... great view and I was the last "SRO seat" on the right by the door. Number 20. I paid $27....the guy in front of me in a actual "seat" paid $130.
