 Feb 13 2006, 12:25:14 AM
Hey, thanks - I saw the same thing online too. I guess I'll call.

You caught Sat night's show? Did she mention how she won't gamble until they bring back the old slots? hehe, or if it snowed? Just curious, she ask this Friday night. I think she's great. We sat center and saw everything. Just lover her! Hoping I'll get some tix for the May 1st concert. Or hope she'll add another date - LOVE to see that show again!!!

Bernadette @ Avery Hall....Tix Still Available?

I was lucky enough to catch Bernadette Peters at Casears friday night and she was absolutely amazing! I loved it!

I know she has a concert this May at Lincoln Center, however I'm not sure if it's sold out - anyone know? If so, will she add another show there too?

I'd love to see it again. "Fever" was spectacular, very sexy and very Bernadette! "You Could Drive A Person Crazy" was another favorite that just sounded unbelievable, as well as my fave "Rose's Turn!" What a night!!

Oh, it was too fun!
Just curious, I remember first seeing PL on the show, Life Goes On. Does she still keep in touch with the cast? In particular, the guy with Down Syndrome....what is he up to these days?

Oh yes, I forgot about her book. First Wives Club, isn't Bernadette Peters also being considered for a role in that? I'd love to see them share the same stage together! Love'em both!

I missed her in Wicked and I'm wondering if anyone knows if she's going to be back on Bway soon. I know most haven't liked her in the role, however I guess if you really like a particular actor, you tend to overlook certain things. What's next for her, anyone know?
Ques About Bernadette Peters Seating @ Caesers AC
 Jan 14 2006, 03:15:51 PM
I bought tickets to her concert this Feb, but I just realized they are considered "Gen Adm" seating. What does this mean? On the ticket it says "seating 90 minutes earlier." Do I have to go and stay there the whole 90 minutes? I have no idea.

And when I purchased them, I wasn't given an opportunity to choose seats - was it b/c they were sold out? I bought them Jan 3 I don't know when they first went on sale.

Any clarifation would be appreciated - thanks.

I agree with Jazzysuite82. And why are you offended - b/c it symbolizes Christianity?

How sad, the way some people think nowadays....

"Do we really have to play "Jew, Not Jew?" Or another round of "Gay, Not Gay?"

Good lord!

Next, why don't we add up all the people with Native American blood. How about light-skinned blacks vs. dark-skinned blacks?

I find this whole thread offensive. "

I agree. And who really cares? Besides, Broadway/Hollywood, isn't "everyone" Jewish in this field of business? So to speak.

Hmm, I'm surprised "Rath" what's her/his name didn't bite your head off for this ques as she/he did mine at a similar one a couple days ago. Go figure.

Oh, I really love her too. Too, too bad she was not on the Sweeney Cast Recording 2001. She is the best Joanna, I think. She and Davis Gaines were a shoe-in.

Rentboy, thank you. This is exactly what I mean.
re: Joyce Dewitt as Mama Rose

Hmm, that's something I would not have expected from her. I wish it was here so I can go see it. Gypsy is my all-time favorite musical, and whenever I hear it's in town ( college production, etc) I'd do my best to make the performance. I think I've read last year in the Sondheim Magazine that it is played quite possibly over than 100 times every year, from college productions to local theatres.

I liked her on Three's Company but I had no idea she can sing.

I'm saddened that the same thing is happening on Christian holidays and see no one complaining about that.
