was that link for "google" because it didn't work.

I tried searching on google, but the terms "rap" and "musical" and all variations thereof are so broad that it's not coming up.

Actually, considering that Kate Reinders will now be out of a job come June (lol get it...June) , why not! I bet she could play the role.
Or even Jennifer Cody.

That's partially where my mind was... when saying that. Not to mention she's an incredibly talented woman. She's gonna amount to something, I have my money on it. Wicked would be a great career move for her, if given the opportunity. Not to mention that she's absolutly delicious :) *g*

Sunday in the Park With George
re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Is this season exceptionally depressing?

I liked plays way before I liked musicals, it took me a long time to warm up to musicals but I did. When most people think of Broadway they think of musicals not plays. But yea this past year has been ok, But definetly not life changing or anything, and I am happy because I am finally going to see RENT on Sunday. It's about damn time, since it opened in 1996 right? haha lol. But that's what I had to say and btw I am 18.

The Witch and Momma Rose related?
 Sep 10 2003, 11:59:40 AM
The Witch in Into the Woods and Momma Rose in Gypsy. I feel that these characters are somewhat related as both being protective mothers who only want the best for the children but do not think about the results of their actions what do you think?

In PA I know of a couple schools that have that program Waynesburg College and Point Park College. I am also extremely interested in this degree anyone know of the best UNDERgrad programs? I am already involved in a few interships in this area.

re: re: re: re: re: Who are Broadway's forgotten stars?
 Sep 4 2003, 01:42:35 PM
I know, but it's because she can't get anything on Bway, I can't remember what show she's on now, but yea. I read somewhere she is doing that now because she can't get a role on broadway. and it's too bad too, I think she would be perfect for some of the roles out ther right now.

Ok, at first site I HATED Little Lamb, but then I looked at it more, it lets you in on what Louise is feeling. Remember that she leaves before all the excitement with Mr. Goldstone, she is not onstage long enough to let her show us how she is feeling. Now I rather like the number, def. not my favorite but yea, it's good.

"Little Cat Little Cat, Why do you look so blue, did somebody paint you like that? Or is it your birthday too?"

re: Bernadette getting out of contract?
 Sep 4 2003, 11:08:02 AM
Ok, sorry for the delay in answering. I heard the rumor on another message board and I posted it here because you all are more knowledgeable about performers and broadway now, than the people at the other board. I wanted it to be proved or disproved. Anyway i find voiceanth and NAMO to be very annoying taking up about 2-3 pages of thread space just to argue about nothing. If you are not going to stay at least on a broadway related topic of some sort please take this to PM, AIM, YIM, MSN, Email o

I have heard that Bernadette is trying to get out of her 1 year contract with Gypsy? Has anyone else heard this or know where I can find more information on it?

With the help of Moulin Rouge (sp?) and Chicago, they are def. out in pop culture and "mainstream" people are starting to notice them more. IMHO
