Right, I didn't put the dream part together, but I did notice the double-album refe

As a public service to those who are curious (I've seen posts about it on Reddit), I was going to list all the similarities to Fleetwood Mac. But honestly, it would be easier to list things that aren't the same!

Lindsey Buckingham's brother was even an Olympic swimmer! Which is a truly *insane* detail to include if you do not want to end up cutting a check to the Mac, lol.

Yeah. I think it might depend on your level of knowledge about FM. I have read a couple of books on the band/making of Rumours. If you have that level of knowledge going in, then it is very possible to both enjoy it very much AND wonder if it was a little overhyped. That's sort of where I landed.

This hasn't been done on Broadway before, but has been done in other media. For instance, the book "Daisy Jones and the Six" (which I also very much enjoyed) was in large par

The short answer is that despite the playwright's denials, this is straight-up 100% inspired by Fleetwood Mac, period. And that needs to be the breakdown in the band. "Christine" has to have been an original British member along with "Mick" and "John."

And before e

I do wonder how much closing notice they'll give! But I might as well buy ahead to help their advance, and then would just get a refund anyway.

Thanks! I'm strongly leaning this way.

We have tix to Suffs, Wicked, and then Merrily (just for the adults). I just want some fun this trip, and can't bring myself to be excited about Hell's Kitchen, Illinoise or Outsiders. Maybe if one of them nabs Best Musical....

For those of you who found it "tedious" (that seems to be the most common criticism), are you generally fans of this genre/topic?

My favorite movie of all time is Almost Famous, and I'm a big Fleetwood Mac fan. So I'm *guessing* I'm not going to be bored?!

Thinking about making this a full-family show if it's still open when we're there at the end of the month. My daughters are 8 and 11, and both love musicals. Don't care about some sex jokes (which often go over their heads) or profanity. Both of them loved & Juliet, and thought this might be in the same wheelhouse..... anyone have thoughts?

I don't have any knowledge of that, but it makes sense. I made this point when people were claiming the Tony noms would doom Lempicka and HoRR. I said Lempicka sure, but HoRR? I mean, how silly would you have to be, as a producer, to have thought that it would be a

So many thoughts.

First, who the heck are these investors, generally? If you

Equity / Non-Equity tour prices
 Feb 5 2024, 01:54:35 PM

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but...

What is the general sentiment about Broadway Series around the country charging the same or more for non-Equity vs. Equity tours?

I have to assume they're *paying* less for Non-Equity (otherwise, why would producers be so keen to see these tours proliferate?) I know that producers of the arts need all the money they can get now. But I can't shake my general irritation about money going into the pockets of companies, whi

Oh yeah, didn't mean to imply that! I second your thoughts completely.

I'm in the minority, I realize, but I loved both & Juliet and Shucked far more than KA... so if KA sweeps on Tony night it'll

The whole cast was absolutely flawless in the theater, but this is the second TV appearance where the vocals sounded wobbly. This seems to happen a lot in these media performances…is it simply the audio setups and/or how well they can hear themselves?

Agreed. It could certainly go either way. But I

Man, I wish there were a betting market for this, because I'd take that action on Shucked, LOL. I think it'll be open in 2024. Take a look back at the BWW graph of the first six months of Rock of Ages' grosses, as just one example of how a show can progres

I'm going to answer my own question, in case it's helpful to somebody else. I bought TKTS on three different days for different combinations of friends and family, and what I got each time were dead Center Orchestra, Rows C, D, or E, for $163.

I believe that at least the D and E's are premium seats, knocked down to regular-ish prices.

Great seats, and absolutely loved the show.
