re: If you could play ONE role on Broadway........ Jun 23

It would have to be Christine in POTO. My given name is Christine because my mother and both of my grandmothers loved the story of POTO in one form or another. I'd like Michael Crawford as my Phantom and Michael Ball as my Raoul please. Corey AKA Christine

popcultureboy, Do you know for a fact that Michael has gone home, or are you just guessing that because he hasn't been seen in public lately?

I've loved the show since I bought the CD of the London Cast when it came out. I've seen the Broadway version twice, and loved that too. My only regret is not seeing Michael Crawford as Count Fosco. Michael Ball is more than amazing though. Is he back at work yet? I know that he's been ill lately.

Cheyenne Jackson is the handsomest, sexiest, sweetest, and nicest guy on the planet, so he's also all of those things on Broadway. Corey

Michael Crawford and Michael Ball. I don't care what they do, I'd just like to see them on stage at the same time.

"Taboo, who's that in your avatar?" I know, I know! That's Cheyenne Jackson. What a sweetie! To answer the question of the thread, either Michael Crawford singing "The Music Of The Night" or Michael Ball singing "Hush-A-Bye Mountain."

When I was 8 years old, I saw Zero Mostel in "Fiddler On The Roof." I was hooked on the theater for life!

The WIW soundtrack is worth the money. I've had my copy in the CD player since mid December. I may have to buy another copy soon!

re: Crawford leaving woman in White for good.. Michael Ball replaces him...... Jan 28

The same article on WOS continues: "There's no official word yet as to if or how long Ball will appear, though it's speculated that it may only be a limited run while Crawford recovers fully from his illness." At this point, anything said is just speculation. Corey

re: Michael Ball Leaves London Chitty to Launch U.K. Tour - playbill.com Jul 7

I don't remember where I heard it, but rumor has it that Donny Osmond is being considered for the role of Caractacus Potts when Chitty comes to Broadway. I wrote a letter to the producers and told them that if they weren't bringing Michael Ball over with the show, that they shouldn't bother bringing the show at all.

I've never been a big BP fan, but I thought she was amazing in Gypsy. She nailed the role perfectly.

I saw DOTV several times and each time was better than the last. It had jelled perfectly just as they announced that it was closing. It's a shame.
I didn't mind the bad reviews so much as the nasty personal remarks that were made about Michael C, Rene A, and Ron O. Reviews are one thing, but personal attacks are uncalled for.
