Hello Mamie; et al,

Yes! I enjoyed "Blue/Orange" very much, too! I thought it was an interesting project. I'd like to see him doing other jobs like that next year maybe. It'll be interesting to see what develops. I can't imagine him being away from stage very long. I still have this irrational hope that he might consider doing a play in London because he seemed to like the work of British playwrights. It would be cool to have him in Europe for awhile!

Well, he did "Blue/Orange" in LA after La Cage. I know that's no new info but it *was* after La Cage! Anybody listened to the radio broadcast? (Did you, Mamie?) I thought it was excellent.

I wonder, too, what he's doing now? Would be nice to see him back on stage.

D'oh! Nevermind about the radio station thing. I found out on my own! I didn't see that when I checked first. Anyway... Play's not scheduled yet as far as I see...

Cool! These are GREAT news about the play! I was happy to read about it at Playbill.com.

Was something said about the radio broadcast dates already? Do they air that "live"? (I'm especially looking for info about Seattle.) As usual I'm clueless about these things but I'd be SO happy to learn more! So anybody who could fill me in is welcome!

Ummm... yes, that's "me"! Thanks for pointing that out with
the magazine! I see... now!

Mamie! I wanted to post that paragraph, too! I just got the link in a mail today! Interesting! Very, very interesting! (Of course I've no background info about that online magazine...) But that is the first time I heard something like this. Thanks for posting!

I agree about the contract. It doesn't matter. La Cage seems to die anyway...

"Also, Gavin Creel disagreed with the press about Daniel Davis from the beginning. He was verbally sticking up for him throughout the whole ordeal."

Umgeoboy, where did you read or hear that Creel commented on what happened? In fact I've never read a statement by a cast member about what was going on backstage - besides what Michael Benjamin Washington had to say. I thought his comments where very vague and not at all meaningful. It sounded more like something one "would say" in cases l

It's so awfully interesting that they start to "do" so much press and participate in so many events now that Goulet joint the cast! I wish they would have done that earlier! I wonder if the amount of publicity work that is/was done for the show has/had something do to with one of the actor's contracts?

P.S. I was thinking exactly the same about Goulet's smile, DGrant! LOL!
