The elephant in the room keeps inflating. I'm curious, but certainly not giving them my money. Always admired Lynn Nottage, I hope whatever she got paid was worth it."

Agreed, especially in 2021. I don’t want to give them

Really sad all around. Really feel bad for the shows that haven’t opened yet (and may never)

Thank you for sharing this info. Hoping theater owners/operators close box offices/stage doors to allow their staff to social-distance. (to be clear - they should continue to be paid. it's not their fault that a pandemic is occurring when they otherwise would have been working!)

And, unfortunately, at that point, it likely will have spread to more than just that one person. (actor passing to cast/crew, usher passing to other ushers/audience, etc).

Theater admin staff working in-office still?

Curious about some of the emails I've received from non-profit theaters, specifying that their staff are now working fully remote until things settle down (in addition to canceling or suspending performances). Are all NY non-profit theaters doing this?
