SHOW EXTENDS AGAIN!

I was at the show on Tuesday with some people from my church and I heard from some money person that was at some reception with the writer that the show was being extended for another 6 weeks!!!! They are capitalizing on this production honey! The composer loved it and I there may be a limited run at some casino down in Atlantic City based on the Prince's production. It's gonna be a DREAMGIRLS year y'all....and about time that the younger generation knows the show truly. That concert was great b

But your tickets! the show is running an extra 2 weeks. Go see it for the music and singing alone. I am taking my sister and her kids to it. they love that type of music. there will never be another Jennifer, but the woman I saw in the late 80's wasn't Jennifer but sure acted better than her! Check it out, people don't get to see this show often.

Orfeh??? Love her..but...no. Def Carolee...she would be amazing! And you need a black Ms. Gardner-tho I dont know who...Lillias never shows up...and a lot of the current divas are too young or not right. As long as Jen Gambatese isn't in it!!

Umm..2 concerts of Pippin, one being a benefit, and some self produced concerts does not a career make,
If anyone has worked since Bare, it's Jenna Leigh on Wicked. Arden hasnt really done anything worthwhile and he's lost every significant role he's been up for.

Secondly...the cast members cant help you..they are no longer cast members..if the show was to happen again...with different producers...don't you think it would be recast to some extent?
Unfortunately, sad as it is...it's not in any fans' power to revive the show..if the writers wanted it produced....it would be.

Although Sheryl may have wanted a reunion....that is not where Seth got the idea...there was nothing shady about the concert.
It was simple as this: Seth and Lillias did a benefit together and Lillias sang "It's all over" and Seth flipped over how amazing it was and promised that somehow, someway, he would do Dreamgirls with Lillias. Since he has the hugest heart and does wonders for BCEFA and other charities....he shopped the idea around until the Actors Fund decided they'd do it. He t

I think this would be great...with or without the original cast. You have to remember that Bare is Bare....the show is the show....it wasnt written for that cast...and if you feel strongly enough that it should remount..you cannot stress having the ATA cast back to Rosie..or she wont want to do it. Stress that the show itself deserves to run. Besides...Michael Arden is def available.

WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT! I must say--it's so wonderful to see some true theater veterans performing in a classy evening with beautiful gowns, boys, music arrangements, boys, ...you know! I am sad that there were other events last night cause everyone could have used a night like this to shake things up! I do hope that Charles and Julie do another even like this...or limited run.
