Saw the show a few days ago and I absolutely loved it and think it deserves to be up there with the greats. It’s truly an amazing show and has a literal show-stopping number nesr the end of the second act.

She was lol. I sadly never got to see the show or her legendary performance as Elle, but in the playbill I have (I think from previews) she is listed as an understudy for Elle right next to Beck Gulsvig, as well as her regular role as Margot.

Happy opening to the West Ends limited run revival of Hairpsray! I know its a very optimistic thing to wonder, but does anyone else wonder/hope this may mean a potential Broadway revival? Its been more than long enough tbh as I think its a story worth telling always.

Getting Rid of Intermission and a Few Other Things...
 May 14 2021, 10:14:50 AM
I believe, if whst someone who I know who used to be on Broadway told me is correct, every hour of rehearsals or performance, the performers and I believe crew as well are obligated by union rules to a 15 minute break. Even for shows that are in between 1 to 2 hours, their break I believe is then technically before the show starts since there won’t be intermission there. In terms of most musicals however, there would then have to be a break by union rules unless they plan on changing that which
(Re)Opening Night Fantasies We Have

The feeling of the lights dimming,( and the preshow announcement,) and the first notes of the shows and the first time we see people. Just generally the start of the reopened shows. That’s what I wanna experience firsthand at ine of the shows.

For the first time ever, previously unseen designs by Americas leading theatre poster designer, Frank "Fraver" Verlizzo whose award-winning work spans six decades are available as limited edition framed prints.

To mark one year since the pandemic necessitated the closure of New York's theaters, Broadway is Alive is raising funds for non-profit Broadway Cares.

The delivery of these rare posters has been facilitated in collaboration with Gelato, the innovative production and distribution platform that empowers creators to design, produce and deliver personalized products to customers worldwide.

Scott Rudin “stepping aside” from theatrical ventures
 Apr 17 2021, 12:15:24 PM
About damn time. I’m happy that entitled pr¡¢k has been racing retaliation for his behavior. Imagine being so entitled and idiotic to think you can behave this way and NOT have it hire you back eventually, especially in this day in age where it is so easy and much more common for celebs to face backlash In the public eye.
